This is the website of Matthew Evans. I am a old-time folk musician who plays fiddle, clawhammer banjo, minstrel banjo, flatpick and fingerstyle guitar, mandolin, and the bones. Most of the music I play comes from the Southern Appalachians and the Cumberland Plateau. Here's a view from Walden's Ridge, part of the Plateau, looking southeast across the North Chickamauga Creek gorge.
